Ronald Louis Genua Jr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Ronald Louis Genua Jr., 36 of Delray Beach Florida on October 11, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and member of his community. Ronnie was born in Washington D.C. on January 31, 1989 and raised in La Plata, Maryland. He attended Archbishop Neale School and McDonough High School in Maryland. He attended Broward College in Florida. He worked as a self-employed photographer, and he also dedicated service at addiction recovery facilities, dedicating himself to helping others. He will be remembered for his boundless love of nature and wildlife, his adventurous spirit, and his deep empathy for others. Ronnie has a passion for travel. He shared his love of music through concerts and his appreciation for tattoo art, religion, and celebrating life and all the joys that made life vibrant and full. A devoted member of his church, Ronnie touched countless lives through his compassion and service, including helping others find strength to seek sobriety and rebuild their lives. If you met him, you couldn't help but fall in love with his adventurous spirit, laughter, profound sense of humor, and generous heart. Now, free from his struggles and at peace, God has brought him home. His passing leaves a tremendous outpouring of love and grief from friends, family and his family community in Florida, where he lived and touched so many lives. Though he is deeply missed, the memories of his laughter, generosity, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Ronald Genua Sr. and Robin (Mamakos) Genua, sisters Constance Fox (husband Casey Fox) and Christina LiCalzi (husband John LiCalzi Jr.), nephews; John LiCalzi III, Keegan Fox, Bentley LiCalzi, Aubriella Fox who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. And his greatest blessing of all, Alexander Genua LiCalzi. A visitation will take place on Monday October 27, 2025 at Raymond Funeral Service P.A 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata Maryland from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 201 Saint Mary's Ave, La Plata Maryland.
