Judith Ann Waller

Judith (Judy) Ann Waller, 82 passed away peacefully Good Friday April 3, 2026 at Green Acres Nursing Home La Plata, MD. Born August 16, 1943 in Paris, IL to William and Frieda Waller (Ochs). She married Henry Waller of Woodleaf, NC Oct 5,1963, relocating to Southern MD. She loved to say that though not previously related she did not want to change her name with marriage. Judy was greeted in heaven by both of her parents, loving husband Henry, granddaughter Lauren Jenkins and son in law Tim Motz. She is survived by her siblings Barbara Blumthal (John), Jane Early (Steve), William Waller (Marcia) and Susan Froman. Daughters Jennifer Jenkins and Amy Motz. Grand children James Motz (Loren), Tyler Jenkins, Amanda Elliott (Samuel) and Jeffrey Jenkins. Great Grandchildren Travis and Brooklyn Motz. Multiple nieces and nephews and large and much-loved friend groups both in MD and FL. Judy’s working life began as a dental assistant. As an orthodontic assistant she hosted many patients at the kitchen table, who needed adjustments and could not wait until appointment times. Later becoming a multi-million-dollar real estate agent, she found such joy in helping families find the perfect homes to grow their Love. Judy loved helping her community. Be it with the American Heart Association, Various committees at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, and leading Christmas in April Charles County. After moving to FL in 1993 she continued volunteering in her community, but could always be found at the Elks, the Turtle or the VFW with “The Group” Enjoying together time and pulling Henry onto the dance floor. The matriarch of her siblings and a loving Mother Judy shared a level of care, concern, Love and support that will be greatly missed. Yet remembered for generations to come. Services will be held on Monday April 13th, 2026 with viewing at Raymond Funeral Home, La Plata, MD 9:30am until 10:30am. Procession to St Joseph Church Pomfret, MD at 10:30am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. In lieu of memorial Contributions the family requests that in Judy’s memory you perform a kind gesture anonymously.
