Richard was born on February 18, 1971 in Washington D.C. to Richard Henry Lanham, Sr. and Joanne Marie Lanham. He is preceded in death by his sister, Tina Lanham. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, James Andrew Thompson and his husband Aaron Rea, siblings; Eva Williams, and Tracy Williams and his wife Dezery Lawrence-Williams, nieces & nephews; Bryan Banks, Desmond Williams, Angelina Williams, and Quentin Williams. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of Prayer Service at 12:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
