Patricia "Pat" Louise Mycka

Patricia “Pat” Louise Mycka, age 77 of King George, Virginia, died October 21, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Pat worked for 22 years in the Assignment Office at the Charles County Circuit Court, retiring in 2014. Her most cherished achievement was realizing her lifelong dream of having a family. She enjoyed ocean cruising with friends, gathering for parties with her children and grandchildren, doting on her many pets, taking regular trips to her favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel, and spending long summer weekends at the family beach house. She was the daughter of Meredith Watenpool and Mary Louise Glasser Watenpool. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Mycka, Jr. She is survived by her sons, John Mycka (Michelle) and Terry Mycka (Drew); her daughters, Annemarie Slattery (Michael) and Susan Mycka (Jeremy Allen); and five grandchildren, Brooke Mycka, Ryan Mycka, Anthony Allen, Blake Mycka, Reed Mycka, and one due early next year. Visitation on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 10AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, Maryland 20617. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to the Humane Society of Charles County, PO Box 1015, Waldorf, Maryland 20604.
