JoAnne McCloud Blush

March 30, 1943 - January 11, 2022

JoAnne McCloud Blush, 78 of Waldorf, MD, passed peacefully surrounded by her children on January 11, 2022 at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. Born on March 30, 1943 in Champaign Urbana, IL, she was the daughter of the late Frances Pauline Pannell and Harry McCloud. JoAnne was one of four children and preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Smith, Johnny McCloud, and Billy McCloud. JoAnne was the loving wife of Willis Warren Blush, who preceded her in death on September 3, 1993. She is survived by her children, Donald William Harrison (April) of Monroe GA, Paula Renee LeSeuer and Michele Fox Stotlemyer, both of Waldorf, MD, and Charles Herbert Thompson (Chrystal) of Leonardtown, MD. JoAnne was blessed with six grandchildren, Daniel, Lindsay, Lauren, James, Kayleigh, and Allyson and two great grandchildren, Amelia and Novah. JoAnne was a dedicated employee of BJ’s Wholesale for 27 years. She enjoyed conversing with the customers and getting to see an array of classic cars pulling through to get fuel. She loved spending time with her family and her cat, Freckles. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, HGTV and any cooking show that she could find to watch. There will be a Prayer Service on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6-8PM at Marbury Baptist Church, 4670 Bicknell Road, Marbury, MD 20658 and where a Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at noon. Interment will be private.
