Harold Garner Edwards

Harold Garner Edwards, 84, of White Plains, Maryland, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Born on June 19, 1937 in Waldorf, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert H. Edwards and Hattie G. Edwards. Harold was a Route Salesman for 52 years for Continental Baking Company (the makers of Wonder Bread). He enjoyed fishing and watching western movies. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by siblings, his twin brother Harrison Edwards, sisters Bessie Edwards Regan and Mabel Edwards Grow. Harold is survived by his wife Lilly Louise Edwards; children James H. “Jimmy” Edwards and Carolyn G. Latham; grandchildren Brittany Latham, Chase Latham, and Tyler Edwards; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 9AM to 10AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Procession to leave for church immediately following the visitation. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 4535 Piney Church Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20602. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Chase Latham, Tyler Edwards, Codie Holman, and James Edwards.
