David Christopher Long Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Christopher Long, 46, of Waldorf, MD died on May 23, 2022 in Fairfax, VA. David was born on January 28, 1976, in Fort Walton Beach, FL to Amelia S. Long and the late Lewis D. Long. David was a Rigger for A&A Transfer. He enjoyed his job as a Rigger and working on the cranes. He was mechanically inclined, good with numbers, and a handyman that was always willing to help with construction and home repairs. His family and friends were most important to him. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2421, Waldorf, MD. David was a kind old soul with a heart of gold; he will be missed by everyone who knew him. In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his step-father, Donald Smallwood. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his children; Kyler J. Long and Dominic E. Albrittain; sisters, Tonya Long-Aragon and her husband Lawrence, Diane Zambrano, and Mary Connye Hiracheta and her husband Jimmy; step-brother, Anthony Smallwood and his wife Amber Molholm; step-sister, Tracey Smallwood; nieces and nephews, Ayrial Hiracheta, Isabella Zambrano, Christian Aragon, and Nevaeh Aragon; and additional family members, Christopher D. Austin and Harper R. Austin. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 3:00PM until time of Elks service at 5:30PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s name are asked to the Elks Lodge #2421, 2210 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
