Charles Daniel Springston, Jr., “Danny”, 66, of Indian Head, Maryland, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Born October 12, 1954 in Washington DC, is the son of Naomi Springston and the late Charles Daniel Springston. Danny served in the US Navy until his retirement at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He later worked for Homeland Security. Danny was an accomplished guitar player having played throughout his life in numerous bands including the Barney Blues Band entertaining not only on the USS Barney but other ships from foreign countries. Although he could play just about anything, his specialty was Blues and Rock music. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his children Nicolette “Niki” Beede, Jessica Springston and Charles Daniel Springston, lll; his sisters Helen Springston and Charlotte Miller; nieces Carey Hubbell and Melissa Abraham, nephew Kirk Hubbell, great niece Madelynn Calomeris and his three grandchildren Skyler Beede, Stephen King and Zavian Springston. Service and interment will be held at 1:45PM on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623.
