In Loving Memory of Julia Mary Mack (Werbowetzki) May 13, 1959 – March 10, 2026 Julia Mary Mack, 66, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, which she faced with unwavering strength since February 2024. Julia was a woman full of life, love, and resilience. She had a vibrant spirit that touched everyone who knew her, and she cherished her family above all else. Her love was deep, constant, and unconditional—she was the heart of her family and a source of comfort, laughter, and strength. She is survived by her devoted fiancé, Joseph Skinner; her loving children, Krystal Jester and her husband Chris Jester, Michael Mack, and Jacqueline Hertenstein and her fiancé Chris Lane; and her cherished grandchildren, Payton Hertenstein, Dru Hertenstein, Mackenzie Jester, and Killian Jester, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her mother, Lilia Werbowetzki, and her brothers, Michael Werbowetzki and William “Billy” Werbowetzki. Julia’s favorite moments were spent simply being with the people she loved most—whether that was time with family and friends, placing friendly bets during football season, or traveling and creating lasting memories along the way. She had a lively spirit and a love for life that made every gathering brighter. She was known for her strength and determination—qualities that shone especially bright during her illness. Even in the face of hardship, Julia fought with everything she had, never losing her spirit or her will. Julia also had a special love for cardinals. She wished for her family to remember her whenever they saw one, a gentle reminder that her love is always near. A celebration of Julia’s life will be held on April 4th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the American Legion in Hughesville, Maryland (6265 Brandywine Road, Hughesville, MD 20637). Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and the beautiful life she lived. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
