As a funeral director serving Southern Maryland for 37 years, my mission is to provide compassionate
funerals at affordable prices to all families that call on me. Born and raised in La Plata, Maryland I have
very strong ties to the community and have been involved in many civic organizations such as the Knights of
Columbus, Sons of the American Legion, Son of the American Revolution, United Way, Board member of Hospice,
HARC & ARC of Southern Maryland. |

Bart Yates, CFSP
Born and raised in La Plata, Maryland, Bart is a licensed Mortician, Life and Health Insurance Agent for
Raymond Funeral Service with over 29 years of funeral service experience. A life member of the La Plata Volunteer
Fire Department and a charter member of the Dentsville Volunteer EMS and Auxiliary, Inc., Bart has been involved
in his community throughout his life. Along with his wife Susan and daughter Julia, Bart lives in La Plata with
their two Westies and attends the Mt.Zion United Methodist Church at Laurel Grove. |
